Deadlines for intake 2026/2027

What deadlines do I have to take into consideration?
Depending on your selection of Entrance University

The application period for intake 2026/27 will open in October 2025.

Since there are no Erasmus Mundus scholarships available for intake 2026, the application deadlines are only considering self-financing candidates.

Self-financing candidates

From EU countries* (self financed):

For self-funded students: Please be aware that participation fees for LTU must be payed before the 1st of May!

A second round of applications for self-funded students will be opened, if there are still free spots available after the first deadline (except for LTU).

*EU countries

As EU person is considered a national (with passport/citizenship/resident permit) of a country from the 27 current and new EU Member States and the countries of the European Economic Area/European Free Trade Association (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland)…

  • …who is a resident of any of the Member States or the participating countries as provided for in Article 11.
  • …who has carried out his or her main activity (studies, work, etc.) for more than a total of 12 months over the last 5 years in any of the Member States or the participating countries.
**Third countries

A so-called Third country national is a national of a third country other than those from the 27 current and new EU Member States and the countries of the European Economic Area/European Free Trade Association (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland)…

  • …who is not a resident of any of the Member States or the participating countries as provided for in Article 11.
  • …who has not carried out his or her main activity (studies, work, etc.) for more than a total of 12 months over the last 5 years in any of the Member States or the participating countries.
