Candidates For Erasmus Mundus Scholarship
All applications completed and submitted before the mentioned deadlines will be automatically considered for the Erasmus Mundus scholarship.

For self-funded students: Please be aware that participation fees for LTU must be payed before the 1st of May!
A second round of applications for self-funded students will be opened, if there are still free spots available after the first deadline (except for LTU).
You fall into this category if your country of nationality:
- is a Member State of the European Union (EU),
- or is a third country associated to the programme: Republic of North Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Turkey, and Serbia.
- or if you have carried out your main activity (studies, work, or training) in an eligible European country for a total of more than 12 months over the last 5 years. (The 12 months do not need to be consecutive. If you did a 6-month exchange semester in Germany and a 7-month internship in France within the last 5 years, the total is 13 months, triggering this rule).
The rest of the countries fall into this category. A so-called Third country student is a national of a third country other than those from the current and new EU Member States and the countries of the European Economic Area/European Free Trade Association (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway)…
- …who is not a resident of any of the Member States or the participating countries as provided for in Article 11.
- …who has not carried out his or her main activity (studies, work, etc.) for more than a total of 12 months over the last 5 years in any of the Member States or the participating countries.
