The most important thing I’ve learnt during my master’s: No matter what colour of skin we have, what country and culture we are from, what language we speak or what kind of religious beliefs we have, we should respect each other’s differences and do not let any sort of biases to inhabit our minds.

Currently I am doing my master thesis in the Functional Materials department (FuWe)

Why did you choose AMASE?

Your motivation for choosing the programme (e.g. seeing different cultures, learning new languages, expanding your engineering/material science knowledge, international studies experience, etc.).

I wanted to continue my studies in Materials Engineering in Germany and this program was without doubt the most exotic one I applied for. With AMASE I could not only become an expert engineer but also improve different aspects of my personality and become familiar with cultural diversities.

Did you experience any special moments during the programme? Tell us about them!

These can be funny/interesting/memorable experiences at the partner universities or in the study country.

The strange weather and nature in Luleå was quite an experience. Dark days and snowy floor. I remember once we were happy that the temperature was -5˚ C and we considered it “warm”.

What did you learn/experience during your time in the programme?

You could write about your experience at the universities (students, courses, material science studies, etc.) or your time in the different countries (cultures, people, etc.).
