AMASE Alumni Survey
The AMASE-Alumni Survey was carried out in 2016 by the Centre for Evaluation CEval. We have compiled the most important information for you!
How long does it take to find a job after graduating from AMASE?
The Alumni Survey reveals that two out of three former students find a job before graduating or within the first three months after the end of their studies. Thus, the vast majority of former AMASE students enters the job market quickly and without challenges.
Where do former AMASE students work?
The majority of our graduates continue their academic training with a PhD programme while a third of our students decides to start their careers directly in industry. A European Degree creates many career opportunities. The survey shows that most alumni use this opportunity and stay in Europe for their first job or a PhD position.
Half of the employers of our alumni are either universities or research institutes. One third of our graduates starts their first employment in the private sector. If you are looking for a great first salary, a position in industry will be a good option. Alumni who work in the private sector earn in average 40.000 – 50.000 EUR per year at their first job. „PhD students fund their studies with scholarships or jobs at universities or research institutes. A PhD is a big asset for future careers in the industry for example in Research and Development departments.“

Working in a multilingual and intercultural environment – challenge accepted!
In average, our graduates encounter colleagues or job partners from four or more nationalities per week and are used to two or three business trips per year. If you are thrilled by an interculturally diverse work environment and curious to learn about other cultures, AMASE will definitely be an asset to find the right job.
In a multinational environment, speaking several languages comes naturally. Former AMASE students use in average two or three languages at work. During the master’s programme students acquire language knowledge in two European languages while studying at two out of six universities.
