Professional Summer School

for second-year AMASE students
EUSMAT – Professional Summer School 2018 – Universität des Saarlandes

The first Professional Summer School (PSS) took place in 2018 in Saarbrücken.

The PSS focuses on job preparation and applications as well as career planning and networking with the industry.

In 2020 and 2021, the Professional Summer School was held in digital format due to the COVID 19 crisis. Since 2022, the Professional Summer School is held in two parts: a first part in digital form and a second in-presence part in Saarbrücken. Since the circumstances in our programme countries are very different and not predictable, we opted for this alternative in order to provide all of the participants with a well organized PSS and give them the opportunity to get to know the students from the first year beforehand. Therefore, the PSS is arranged parallel to the Integration Week (with the 1-year students).

Professional Summer School 2024:
22th August  – 28th August

➡️ The digital part of the PSS will take place on August 14th and 15th, 2024.

➡️ The on-site PSS will take place from August 22th until 28th, 2024.

Don’t worry besides the informative parts we will also organize fun parts and excusrions!

Please keep in mind that the participation in PSS is a compulsory part of the AMASE Master.

Registration for Professional Summer School 2024

Impressions from past Professional Summer Schools

In 2018, both the Integration Week and the Professional Summer School of AMASE were evaluated by the Center for Evaluation. You can find the results in this report.
